World Polio Day  on 24 October is much more than a date on the calendar. It’s a vital time for Rotary and Rotaract clubs around the world to join our partners, supporters, and public health advocates to raise awareness and funds that will help us end polio for good.

We made a promise to the children of the world: No child should suffer the consequences of this vaccine-preventable disease.

Share what you’re doing
 
Registering your club’s World Polio Day event or activity is crucial to help us raise awareness of what Rotary and Rotaract clubs are doing globally to support polio eradication.

By sharing your club’s events, you not only demonstrate the power of Rotary to do good in the world but also provide information that can tell a story and inspire Rotary members and others in the future.
Build momentum with Strava
 
As you plan your World Polio Day activities, one way for club members to get involved is to join this year’s Team End Polio Movement Challenge on the fitness app Strava.

From 24 September through 24 October (World Polio Day), participants in the challenge from across the world will be part of the goal to complete 60 million minutes of movement.
