The PEOPLE'S ASSEMBLY 2026
You are cordially invited to the Rotary 100 Online International Mega Meeting – The People's Assembly 2026, a global gathering taking place on the occasion of the United Nations International Day of Peace and during the 81st Session of the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA 81).
This special international gathering brings together leaders, peacebuilders, humanitarians, change enablers, and advocates from around the world to engage in dialogue, connect, and work together toward a more peaceful, inclusive, and resilient world.
When? On September 20, 2026, at 12 noon.
Among them are:
- Olayinka H. (Yinka) Babalola, president of Rotary International
- Stephanie Urchick, past president of Rotary International
- and other leaders, peace activists and changemakers from around the world
The Rotary 100 Online International Mega Meeting – The People's Assembly 2026 will bring together approximately 100 Rotary leaders, club presidents, Rotarians, Rotaractors, friends of Rotary, peacebuilders, partners, civil society representatives, global peace ambassadors, humanitarian workers, changemakers, social workers, and peace, justice, and human rights advocates from around the world.
The meeting will focus on:

✦ Share practical approaches to peacebuilding
✦ Learn from leaders and communities around the world
✦ Build meaningful international connections
✦ Strengthen partnerships and collaboration
✦ To inspire positive action for peace and social change
"Through dialogue and the exchange of experiences, we will explore how we can move forward: from conflict → to understanding, from understanding → to solution, from solution → to lasting peace," say the initiators. "We also believe that lasting peace begins in the individual and extends outwards to families, communities, societies and nations."
